MY STORY

On the 12th of September 2014 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, on the 22nd May 2017 I beat it!

On the 30th July 2014 I was struck with loss of vision in my left eye, Needless to say thats a scary thing to wake up to.. After going to work, pretending I was ok, I went to the optometrist to get a check.. move forward through numerous doctors visits and an MRI scan I was officially diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis on the 12th September 2014. After over a year taken to really come to terms with the diagnosis we finally started to look into options and on the 20th February 2016 we started fundraising for HSCT in Singapore, We managed to reach a goal of just shy of $200,000 to Kick this MS in the Nick of time. In April 2017 I travelled to Singapore to recieve HSCT at the amazing Raffles Clinic. on the 22nd May 2017 I receieved my Stem cells back and officially started my road to recover from MS and aim to get back to a normal family life without this insidious disease hanging over our shoulders. This page helps to chronicle that journey.
